Just Wednesday

Well, today wasnt too eventful. I went to 3 classes today tho, Script analysis, math and university 1000. Nice.

Yesterday was pretty fun tho! Alicia came and picked me up around 5, and we went to wal-mart with Katie. Then we dropped off the groceries at Alicias place, and went to Institute! Institute is amazing! I love it so far! Gotta get reading my Book Of Mormon! =]
After Institute, Alicia, Katie and I were walking to the car, and we heard this girl singing. She was INCREDIBLE! She was just sittin in here car singing, and we walked over to her and complimented her beautiful voice. She told us shes trying out for the H.O.P.E choir! We talked to her for a bit, and then we went back to Alicias. We made beef strogonoff for dinner, and it turned out WAY good! (amazingly! cause normally i burn down kitchens. ahahha) After dinner we played some rockband, and then I went home. At my apartment, I decided to stay up and read Breaking Dawn (im almost done with it!) until like 1am. Hahaha. Those books are too addicting, what can i say.

So yeah, last night was fun!

And like I said, not too much excitement today! Although, at 8 tonight, Im going to the shakespearen festival with my grandpa, aunt retta and uncle mark! So that will be fun! i've been SO ready to go see a play they put on! Hello, the festival is like one of the main reasons i chose to come to this school! haah. So im excited!

First Day of School!

Well, today was my first day of actually attending college! It was actually not bad! Haha. My first class (script analysis 1) didnt start till 11am, so I decided I'd wake up at 8:30 and take my time getting ready, and be able to eat a good breakfast. I made it on time to class, but i had to park lightyears away, apparently kids dont like to walk anymore these days...Haha. My backpack was super heavy cause I wasnt sure if i needed my laptop or not, so i brought it just in case. Yeah, turns out I dont really need it AT school. Needless to say, I was carrying alot more than necessary today. (keep that in mind for what i say next!) So after this Script Analysis class, i had math. I thought SC 230 meant Sharwin Smith Center room 230. I was wrong. I ended up walking all around in the Sharwin Smith Center looking for room 230, and it didnt exist. I stopped and asked a fellow student (=]) where this math class was and she told me that SC means Science Center. hahhha. dangit. The science building is like all the way across campus, and it was already 11:55, math started at 12. So...I pretty much ran. I was five minutes late. Very lame. And math....was also lame. ahahha.
Well anywho, I have a lot of math homework that is due tomorrow, and for script class i have to read romeo and juliet by wednesday. Nice. I'll be pretty busy tonight.

Im going to try and get it all done before 6, because at 6 we have Ward Family Home Evening! Yes! But no worries, I'll manage to get everything done!

College Life!

I finally made it! Southern Utah University has its newest edition...ME! I got here on Tuesday, and moved into my nice apartment. My roommates are awesome! Stacey is sharing an upstairs room with me, and she is super cool. She wants to be a teacher, and she's totally hilarious. Karlie is upstairs in her own room, and shes incredibly talented! She draws like no ones business, and she writes too! Truly amazing. Then, down stairs we have Sarah! Sarah is freakin awesome too. Shes a returned missionary, she served in Washington, D.C., and shes majoring in music, minoring in theatre! So, she was excited when she found out im majoring in Acting. (f.y.i, she is an incredible singer...really.) Amy is Sarahs friend, and also her roommate downstairs, but she wont be moved in until tomorrow! Im sure she's awesome too! And, we're all LDS...so that makes things a bit easier!
The four of us went to church today, and coming from those humongous Vegas wards, this ward was pretty dang small! It was weird to be in a ward with people all around my age! No babies crying you know?! Different, but good! I really liked it. We have family home evenings as a ward every monday, starting tomorrow, and im very excited for that to happen! Sundays we have stake firesides, and then ward pray too!

Everything is just going really well. I'm loving all the people I've met (Alicia, Tara, Mori, Keyshia, Alex, Scott, Sydney, Matt, Thomas, Nate, Skye...just to name a few!) we really have a lot of fun just hangin out and wandering around Cedar! School starts tomorrow and part of me is nervous, but the part of me that is excited...is taking over! I have script analysis 1 tomorrow at 11am, and then Math at 12, and im done for the day! Sweet. Then tuesday i have Acting 1 at 10am, Math at 12, and im done. Wednesday is a little longer, i have script analysis 1 again at 11am, math at 12, then at 1 I have the university 1000 class. Thursday is the same as tuesday, and friday is the same as wednesday! Then im heading home for labor day weekend on Friday!

I miss all my family and all my friends, so im pretty excited to go back home and see everyone! I could carry this blog on forever, but its 11:38pm here in Cedar City, Ut. so i think its time i go to sleep! Gotta be ready for school! =]
