Oh my HECK.. it has been SO LONG. Im sorry. So over spring break, i went to San Diego with my friends. We stayed at Marks house and he lives like 10 minutes away from the beach! So pretty much everyday thats where we were. The people that went was: Me, Stacy, Kindra, Amy, Sarah Jane, Jessica, Matt and Mark. The first day we got there (on Saturday), it was night time, but I was with Matt, Jessica and Amy in Matts car, so we decided to go right to the beach. We did! It was dark, but so fun! We got a little wet =] After we played for a bit, we went to Marks house and met his parents and they bought us dinner. Then we all got in the hot tub! Went to bed later... and Sunday we woke up and went to his parents ward, and then came home and made a picnic to take to the beach. We ate on the beach and then went on a mini hike... and guess what? I fell. Of course.. always me. ahahah.. Im too clumsy. Monday we tried on wet suits and boogie boarded all day. That was the first time i've ever done that, and it was a blast! seriously, thats all i wanted to do the rest of the week. ahahha. And I was doing a handstand and fell on my knee... leaving me with a HUGE bruise. Hahah, seriously, all week i was getting injured. It was ridiculous. Anyways, later that night we had a bonfire on the beach.. it was FANTASTIC. Beats a bonfire anywhere else for sure. Tuesday we went to Mission Beach and I rode a Sea Doo with mark and amy. Mark drove and we tipped. hahah it was hilarious. in the ocean too. AH. and then Amy drove and then I drove. And man i was taking the corners at high speed! i loved it!!! =D Then i went for a kayak ride with sarah jane, SO FAR. we were gone for an hour and a half! insane! but so worth it. we saw a sting ray swim right under us too! In our little kayaks. hhahaha. Crap. I got SO INCREDIBLY BURNED. on just my legs. hahah.. woooow. after this we went to watch an actual sunset! it was the most awesome thing. Then we hot tubbed after of course! On Wednesday, we all went to the San Diego Temple. I did baptisms with Stacy, Kindra and Jessica, and Matt, mark, amy and sarah jane did a session. It was such a beautiful temple. I loved it. After that, we went to the zoo! We rode the double decker bus, and walked all over, and even rode the sky-fari! So fun! We decided that we need to make tshirts that say the nicknames we came up with for each other over the week, and the animals we resemble and our favorite numbers as well. Guess what mine all were? Yup, my nickname became Calamity. hahah, and my animal a hyena. HAHAHAH. Oh, after the zoo we had to take Amy to the airport cuz she had to be back in cedar for work =[ sadddddd. Thursday was pretty chill.. we swam in the pool and hung out. I skateboarded with matt and mark for a little bit.. then we went and relaxed on the beach. It was so windy and cold! but thats probably cuz my body temperature was way off.. since i was tremendously burned. haha. But eventually i got in the water with matt and sarah jane and we boogie boarded again! YES! That night Marks parents took us to dinner. it was delicious! Friday we went on a hike and it over looked the beach. We paused for a while, and i just realized that the beach is the one place where i can feel the love Heavenly Father has for me and the entire world. The world is enormous and I realize it when im at the beach. I love the beach. Anywho, after that marks grandparents took us to dinner. they are adorable and so kind! Later we watched monty python and the holy grail.. and i had never seen it, but i just couldnt get into it.. ahaah. Maybe another time! Saturday we went to some shops and bought stuff, and walked along the beach, then headed home. I decided i wanted to stay in vegas, so my mom met us at target =] i missed my family so i was happy to be with them. Sunday my parents drove me back to Cedar. It was such a great vacation oh man! i did NOT wanna be in school again. hahah.
Whew.. now i'll tell u about Heidis birthday party! It was great! She turned 20 and we had tons of people come to my apartment to celebrate! We played Put the chopstix in the rice bowl hahah, and we just hung out. We hit a pinata! We had cake, two of them, and pizza..everything. It was so great!!!! She had tons of fun and got a lot of cool gifts.
