Stand up & Speak: January 2009

Last Family Home Evening, we did Karaoke with another ward! It was SO MUCH FUN! I sang the song from titanic “my heart will go on” with heidi. And we did a little dance. Hahaha. Very amazing. Matt and Kurt sang “im gonna miss her” by Brad Paisely, it was hilarious! Mark sang “my GIRLFRIENDS back” ahhaha.. By himself. Then, Heidi, mark, Matt and I sang “Summer Nights” from Grease. Ahah it was WAY awesome.
Oh, and the other day, I invited Mark, Matt and Devin over and I made Vegetable pizza =]
And it was actually good! Hahah. I know. I was amazed too.
And yesterday, Friday, we went sledding again! Mark, Kindra, Stacy, Katie, Rachelle, Me and Matt. Mark totally ran into cement with his chin. Hhah. Bad news. Matt ran down the hill pulling me on the sled, and oh man, he was goin fast and I fell off. Hahah. I was literally flipping. So great. He had no idea I fell off too. He just kept running. HAHAHA.
After that, we hung out at my apartment, then went visiting teaching (and matt came with stacy and I. haha.), and later watched the ringer! It was great! Here are some pics from sledding.

Oh man! I have been SO busy! I can't believe it's taken me this long to finally post a blog! WOW! There are so many pictures on this blog too. Well, I went home for christmas break on Thursday. I took my roommate Amy with me because she had to fly from Vegas to Washington, D.C. On Friday, we had to be up at 4:30am so we could get to the airport for her flight in time! It was craziness! But i didnt mind! =]
My break was great! I hung out with my family and friends ALOT! I missed them so much!
My brother and I took pictures for my mom for Christmas out at Aliante park. Christmas was great! I got tons of stuff I wanted! I got a new camera, the wii, games for the wii, clothes, perfume, movies, cds, and more! New Years Eve was great too! My cousin Anthony and his girlfriend RJ hung out with my mom, me, my brother, his friend Gareth, and my Dad. My mom played rockband 2 with me like the entire night. She is pretty much AMAZING at eye of the tiger ;] haha.
My brothers birthday was on December 18th, and we went to this indoor race track place. It was AWESOME! We drove go carts around, and I drifted corners. =]
I hung out with my friends Derek, Jon and Nick a lot too! We played Derek’s guitar hero world tour! Its way fun. We played a lot of rockband 2 at my also. Haha. It’s a very VERY fun game! We even had our own little bonfire at Nicks house! And Jon lit his fingers on fire. Haha. Oh gosh!
And sooner than expected it was time to go back to school! Stacy and I cleaned our house that Saturday, and our bathroom sink had never been cleaned before we moved in (at least that’s what we assumed ahah.) and so it was absolutely disgusting and plugged. Our friend Mark came over and helped us unclog it, so we made him a cake. His nickname is Terv, because his last name is Tervort, so I thought it was funny. Ahhaha. He loved the cake, and so did his roommates! =]
School is great! I have a way busy schedule this semester but I like it! I am taking 16 credits. I have math-Quantitative Reasoning, dramatic literature, yoga, stagecraft, voice and diction, and arts retrospective! I’m also enrolled in Institute again! Im taking the class taught by Brother Garner called “Keys to successful Scripture study.” It’s a really great class. Im learning a lot!
I went home for the first 3 day weekend in January. I surprised my family and they were way excited I came home again! My mom bought me a trench coat that I LOVE so much and wear like everyday! She also surprised me with a life-sized Edward cardboard cutout in my room. It scared the crap outta me! But I love it. Thanks mom!
What else? Oh! When I got back to Cedar, it was also our friend Kurts birthday, so Heidi and I made him a cake! Haha.. A TWO LAYERED cake! Yeah. We’re that amazing. It turned out, ummm…good? Hahah.
Everyone has been over a lot to play rockband on my Wii. Its way fun! That’s the new version of our game nights! Matt and Mark sang Eye of the Tiger..its absolutely hilarious.
My friend Sydney’s birthday was January 23rd so we went to dinner at Costa Vidas! It was good! I bought her the Jonas brothers two cds, which she loved!
OH! Derek, Jon and Nick came and visited me one weekend! It was awesome! Jon and Derek dressed up as girls. Ahahha. Yeah, random and so funny. We later went to the mountains with mark, matt, heidi, me, jon, Derek, and nick. We had a snowball fight and just hung out. It was super fun! And cold. Haha. Later that day, the boys left for Vegas, and I went to Sarah Jane’s uncles house for a partayyyy! Heidi made everyone sweet & sour chicken that was DELICIOUS! We had cheesecake too for our friend Jeffs bday. Then we all went to the basement area and into the theatre room to watch Get Smart. And if you havent seen it yet, PLEASE WATCH IT. It was SO FUNNY.
Yup, I’ve been way busy as you can tell! Last Wednesday, stacy and I decided it would be way sweet to go sledding! So we invited a bunch of people (Jennifer, Allison, Katie, Rachelle, Mark, Kindra, Stacy, and I) to go to Canyon View Middle School and sled down the huge hill! It was pretty much amazing. I LOVE SLEDDING!
