Taylor Visits!

This last weekend, Taylor came and visited me here at SUU before she headed to Clinton, Ut. to live with her dad! We did alot in just 3 days! We wandered the campus, had a mini road trip, went to and hosted game nights, met cute guys, hung out with a bunch of people, and laughed a lot! Of course!

We went to St.George for our mini road trip and we ate at in n out, since there isnt one in cedar or clinton we figured we would get our fulfillment of yummess, and then we went to Spoon Me...hahahahah...it was an ice cream place! We didnt get any ice cream, we just took pics in front of the sign cuz its so funny! Here are the pix!

So obviously, we had a lot of fun! Sadly those were the only pics we took during the weekend! But it was awesome! And hopefully Taylor will come up for this next semester, in January!

She left on Monday, and since then Ive just been hangin out with my friends! My neighbor Sam is pretty funny and i've been hangin with him, cuz his roomie jimmy is out of town! He's really good at doing different voices, and they are hilarious! And Alicia, shes been sick! Poor girl! She has bronchitis...but shes got medication, and she seems a LOT better! So this is good! Hahaha. Anyways, that's pretty much it for now! I've been working hard in school and trying to study for math!

Oh! My friends and I are gonna be going to General Conference on Saturday October 4th! We are going to the evening session. Its gonna be so much fun! I have never been so im way excited!

I'll be sure to post how that goes! Oh, and my calling is Relief Society Instructor! I have to teach the lesson in relief society, the 2nd sunday of every month =] Im also giving a talk this sunday in sacrament! Im excited!

Country Line Dancing Anyone?!

Oh my gosh! Last night my roommate Sarah decided she was gonna go to a Country Swing Dance at the school around 8pm. She thought it would be fun if all of us went with her (roommates), and I suck at swing dancing really, but somehow she managed to convince me to go! Karlie was busy writing her script, but me and Stacey and Amy went with Sarah. Our four other friends, Alicia, Gira, Jimmy and Sam came too! We got to the mulipurpose center at school and everyone dancing was like PRO. Yeah, it was insane. They were flying in the air and stuff. I was like "oh crap...this aint happening." hahaha. BUT sam and I learned one of the swing dances, and so did Jimmy and Amy. We did pretty good! Jimmy kept trying to show me and sam up, but we always got him back with the dip. Haha.

The girls and I met up with some of our other friends from our apartment complex and they taught us a line dance. And so we decided to leave the school Swing Dance and go back to our apartments and form a HUGE line dance in the middle of our street. And we did. And it was awesome! It was at least 10 girls doing a line dance in the street. Hahah, oh and Jimmy. He came out and invented the Jimmy Shimmy. So funny. One of the girls, Bailey, had Jimmy film us and shes gonna be putting it on her blog. So i'll have to find it!

After we danced in the street, we invited Jimmy and Sam, Gira and Alicia, over to our apartment for pancakes and vegetables! Haha. And then we all watched 'Meet the Robinsons'. It was fun! Yet another fun night in college! =]

Tonight Im going to Alicias to watch the episode of One Tree Hill that i missed, and then I have a meeting with my bishop, I think I'm getting a calling! Fabulous! I'll be sure to let you know!

These two days

Man, monday and tuesday have been so much fun! Monday was my ward's family home evening! I invited Alicia to come along with me and my roommate Stacy. So the three of us went together and we hung out with our friends Jimmy and Sam. We played water balloon volleyball, and missionary tag. Missionary tag was intense. I sucked at it..apparently I have something called 'a delayed reaction'...psh! Haha.

I had to take Alicia home towards the end of my family home evening because she had to go to her own family home evening. But I came back after I took her home, and I stayed and talked with Stacy, Sam, and Jimmy for a while. Sam taught me his and Jimmy's 'handshake' hahaha..I totally nailed it after just one time seeing it. I know, I amaze myself also.

Later that night, Alicia was coming back over to my apartment to watch One Tree Hill with Stacy and I, and Sam and Jimmy were gunna come over and cook pizza and watch part of One Tree Hill too.....but Stacy and I get home, turn on One Tree Hill, and it was already almost over with! We were so upset! Jimmy and Sam werent of course. Hahaha. So instead, Alicia, Jimmy and I drove to Sonic, got some drinks, then we all went back to my place and watched Just Friends. Such a funny movie!

It was such a fun night! I already have some amazingly awesome friends! They keep me from being bored thats for sure! Oh man, after the movie, everyone left....and like 20 minutes later, Jimmy comes over and says he left his wallet in Alicias car! Hahah! So him and I had to drive over to Alicias, find a way to get into her dorm (luckily i knew this kid standing outside so he let us in), and wake her up. Hahaha. She claims she wasn't all the way asleep tho. Needless to say, we retrieved the lost wallet! All this joy was just last night! Today was just as fun!

First of all, it was so cold today! Which I am LOVING! I got to wear another of my SUU hoodies! I took my time walking to classes, so I could enjoy the weather (but really I was freezing and just wanted to run inside the building!). When I finished with school, I came home and made some chicken noodle soup and ate it outside on my steps. Its always fun to eat hot soup out in cold weather. I think it tastes better that way, maybe its just me. Hahaha.

Then I went inside to do my homework in the living room on the couch, and somehow I must have fallen asleep! Next thing I know, theres a knock on the door...I opened my eyes to me lying on the couch all sprawled out, my homework all over the floor, and the tv on. Really, I thought I was dreaming, but then there was a knock on the door again. So I got up and answered it. It was Sam and he was inviting me over to watch 300 with him and Jimmy. I ran upstairs and Stacy was awake, so she came with me. We watched 300 with them and just hung out for a bit.

At 5, I had to go to Institute choir with Alicia and Katie. I say HAD because they convinced me that it would be fun. And you know what, it IS! We sang a beautiful song, and we get to sing it in the fireside for the stake on Sunday! Im pretty excited. After the choir meeting, Alicia, Katie, and I walked around the church building outside for a bit (we had some time to waste before Institute started). On the sidewalk was this number written with chalk in huge letters with the words "Call this number!" above it. So Alicia of course dared me to call it, and I did. I left the dude a message, and let him know his number was on the sidewalk. Hahah, it was rather entertaining.

Finally, we went to Institute. It was fun as usual! I went home after that, and managed to spill my dinner (fruit loops) all over the carpet in my room and all over my ipod stand. Fabulous. Leave it to me right?! But I cleaned it up. Stacy got a good laugh out of it all. Hahaha. Too funny! And now, Im about ready to go to bed! Oh, such eventful days!

The football game on Saturday was AWESOME! Me and 3 friends went together and had SO much fun! Sydney and I were on our way to meet up with Alicia and Allison so we could head over to the game, but when we got out of my car we saw these boys painting their bodies red and black. Hahaha, so we decided to go say hey and see if we could use some paint for our faces! Sure enough, the boys were down with letting us put war paint on our faces. Hahaha. The war paint completed the school spirit!!!

It was a really fun night! This wasnt SUU's first football game, it was the second. And it was against a school called Adams. Students got in free, so that RULED.

Labor Day Weekend!

I went home this weekend to spend time with my family and friends. It was good to be back and see everyone, even though I've only been gone for a week and a half. Hahaha.

I left for Vegas on Friday, after I got out of school. I stayed in Vegas until Monday! I got home at 9:40pm, and I've been awake doing stuff since then. Homework, watching A Cinderella Story, and A Knights Tale, and updating this blog! Haha, yeah, its 1:20am now! i know, i should get some sleep.

Anyways, it was a lot of fun! I hung out with my friends, and saw "Tropic Thunder" with my family. But man, now im back in Utah, and its FREEZING already! its a good thing i packed my winter clothes!
