Always a kid

Let me start this entry out with a funny story. =]

Today, I walked into the living room and saw my brother Keaton sitting in our wheelable office chair. I immediately felt the need to spin him, so I asked if he wanted me to. Of course, as a duty of a younger brother, he had to say yes. I spun him around and around...he kept yelling FASTER! So I spun and spun until I couldn't even grab the chair! I was laughing, and Keaton kept screaming "Woah, where am I? Dude Im going so fast!" He then yelled "Hey, stop this thing!" I laughed, like big sisters do right? But, I also tried to stop him. The chair was spinning so fast that I couldn't grab it. It was like my reaction time to stopping the chair was just too slow! Next thing we know, Keaton goes spinning out of control and right into the Hedgehog's cage. It flew across the living room, leaving the poor hedgehog's bedding everywhere, and little Spike (that's the hedgehog) was curled up in a prickly ball in the corner.
I burst out in laughter! I couldn't control it! I was hunched over, holding my gut, and laughing like crazy. All the while, Keaton is sitting in the chair just staring at the mess. Then....mom walks in. Of course, I continue to laugh. Keaton, he tries to explain what happened and I start to feel bad for laughing. So through my laughter I manage to mumble to my mom that it was all my idea. She was giving us the "mom stare", but I could see her lips trying not to curl up and laugh. It must have been an even better sight from an outside perspective. She "firmly" told us to clean it all up.
I continued to laugh.
And Keaton continued to look baffled.
We cleaned up the mess and I told him how funny it is that brothers and sisters just don't change. Why did he listen to me when I suggested the dumb idea of spinning in the chair? Because I'm his older sister, and I make things sound fun. What's the most hilarious of all, is the fact that we still reacted the same way we've always reacted when we get in trouble together. Really, it's always been that way...I laugh histarically, and Keaton gets nervous that he's gonna get yelled at. Which I dont blame him, I used to pretend like I never did anything...but I'd end up confessing every time. Plus, I mean, if I were a mom and I walked in on my kids, one laughing and the other nervous, I would immediately assume it was the nervous childs fault...whatever it may be. But, I stick up for him and never make him take ALL the blame ;]
It truly was hilarious. This was not something a 19 year old and 16 year old would be doing. Always always always a kid!

Anyhow, that's the funny story! Lately, I haven't been up to much. Just keeping track of my online class. Oh! I did go to Bikram Yoga. If you don't know what that is, heres a summary: Its yoga, but in a room the temperature of a sauna. 105 degrees.
It is incredible! I loved every second of it! Well, minus the fact that I was beside a man in a speedo, and the fact that I got dizzy and had to sit down..all the while thinking I was guna pass out & telling myself I hate this and never wanna do it again....
Haha, don't worry..they tell you that dizziness is common. If you feel dizzy at any time, just sit down. It works. But Im not used to feeling dizzy, so it freaked me out. Hence, why I was telling myself i hate it and want to quit. Once I finished the class though, I'd never felt so great in my life. Really! It works everything in your body and makes you feel rejuvenated. Im signing up soon, for a month! So I can go everyday until I leave for school! YAY!

My friend Heidi tore her ACL playing soccer on Wednesday. Oh man, I was freaking out! But she's got it all taken care of, and I'll be moving in sooner than we know it...and I'll be helping her out!!

So, there you have it! Up-to-date on Ashleigh's life!
